Veterans invited to Turkey Chili Dinner at Miller Foods

Miller Foods in Avon, a poultry business that is also the home of Oma’s Pride pet food, invites all local veterans to a Turkey Chili Dinner on Monday, Nov. 11 from 4 to 7 p.m. This is the third consecutive year the family-owned and operated business has hosted the event, one in a series of dinners called “Thanks for Giving” that the Miller Foods family designed to show appreciation to service groups in the community. The tradition began in November, 2011 and involves K9 police officers and their canine partners; search and rescue organizations; the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation; and First Company Governor’s Horse Guards.
