Walk-In Flu Shot Clinic sponsored by the Farmington Valley VNA

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends the flu shot for every person over the age of 6 months. If you work with or care for young children, are pregnant, work in a health care environment, are considered to have a chronic health condition, or are over the age of 65, you are considered to be at "high risk" for contracting the flu.

The Farmington Valley VNA is pleased to offer low-cost flu clinics throughout the Greater Farmington Valley region. The cost of the flu shot is typically covered by Aetna (Regular/Medicare), Anthem (Regular), ConnectiCare (Regular/Medicare), WellCare Choice (Medicare Advantage), and Medicare Part B (as primary) insurances, or is $39.00 for the regular flu shot, $42.00 for the intradermal vaccine, and $56 for the high-dose vaccine. Please visit patch.com or www.farmingtonvalleyvna.org for a complete listing of walk-in flu clinics. Appointments are also available at our Granby office by calling 860.653.5514.

Be prepared this flu season! The sooner you receive the flu vaccine, the sooner you will be protected from this potentially debilitating virus.
