Wee Care Sew-In Retreat

The Mountain Laurel Stitchers invite you to join us in making custom-made hospital vests for the infants at the Neo-Intensive Care Unit at the UConn Health Center in Farmington. These vests are designed to meet the functional requirements of hospital care and provide a personal touch to the treatment and care these infants receive. Come join us in using your talents to support this worthy cause. There will be opportunities available to cut fabric, sew vests, pin pattern pieces, iron, etc. No sewing experience necessary - there are a variety of stations where you can help! Come all day or just for a while. Anyone willing to lend a hand is welcome!
