On this Memorial Day, as we acknowledge and give thanks to our Veterans and soldiers, I would like to acknowledge Zoey's "Soldiers". Like our American Soldiers, Zoey's "Soldiers" volunteered, instead of serving their country, we serve our neighbor. Zoey's "soldiers" are from all walks of life and all ages. We have Mom's, Dad's, professionals, students and retiree's. Some know Zoey and her family but most of us just love dogs and want to "serve" our community and help our neighbor. As I give thanks this Memorial Day for our men and Women who serve and protect our country, I am also giving thanks that I live in a community that helps their neighbor and will come together to "Serve and Protect" a dog named Zoey! May God Bless our Soldiers and Zoey and bring them all home safe & sound and soon! Don't forget to call your local animal control with sightings. Thank you neighbors!
