First Friday Dinner at Avon Congregational Church

A Cinco de Mayo celebration is the perfect way to celebrate the flavors of our neighboring country, Mexico. The featured entrée is "Fiesta Chicken”, a grilled chicken breast topped with a freshly made, flavorful salsa served with a vegetable, green salad, dinner rolls, and a homemade Delicious Dessert Buffet, including coffee and tea.  Enjoy a great home cooked meal, festive ambience, and support a good cause at Avon Congregational Church from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on May 4, 2012. A portion of the dinner proceeds will go to the 29th Annual Walk Against Hunger sponsored by Foodshare.  Dine in or take out. The dinners are $12 (adult) and $6 (child 10 and under). Diners may purchase tickets at the church office, Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., or at the door. For more information, call (860-678-0488) or send an email to secretary@avon-church.org.
