It wouldn't be fall in Avon without celebrating Avon Day at the end of September.
The event runs Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Thompson Brook School at 150 Thompson Rd. in Avon.
Be sure to come say hi to Avon Patch at our photo station near the face painting to get your picture taken for the Avon Day photo gallery we're hosting on our site. We'll also be photographing the event.

You can also enter our Let's Talk Avon comment contest for a chance to with a $100 gift certificate to Miller Foods or a $50 gift certificate to The Meat House.
There will be a lot of businesses and non-profits there to meet you. Congratulations to Diane Hornaday, the UNICO Avon Citizen of the Year, who will be honored at 1:30 p.m.
