FULL HOUSE FOR SIMSBURY BANK’S GRANBY BRANCH 15th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Granby, Conn. (September 17, 2013) –Simsbury Bank’s Granby branch was a place of festivity Tuesday night as loyal customers, town dignitaries and Simsbury Bank board members and staff celebrated the branch’s 15th anniversary.  The branch opened its doors in October of 1998 and quickly became a valuable member of the local financial and business community.

Live music, hors d’oeuvres, refreshments and confections were on hand as they celebrated the spirit of community banking, personal service and their continued success in mortgage banking.  Simsbury Bank Chairman of the Board, Robert Bogino along with President & CEO Martin Geitz, addressed the guests and thanked the Granby staff for helping consumers and businesses achieve their goals.

Following comments from Representative Bill Simanski of Granby, longtime customer Rosalia Bale, also had a few words for the crowd and she got a bit emotional in thanking the staff of the Granby branch. “I can’t tell you how kind and compassionate the people are that work here..  Never have I felt such a strong personal and professional relationship with a bank and that’s why my husband and I have been customers here since 1999,”said Bale.
