Avon Arrests on Nov. 20-21, 2011

The following information was provided by the Avon Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Possession of Narcotics

Heather Donahue, 22, 70 Boardman St., Apt. C8, Bristol and Preston H. Tencate, 27, 53 Helena Rd., Avon, were charged with sixth-degree larceny, possession or use of drug paraphernalia and possession of narcotics on Nov. 21 at 11:57 a.m. After the arrests at his home, Tencate was additionally charged with disorderly conduct for a separate incident that happened at around 4:10 p.m. Donahue was released on a written promise to appear in court on Nov. 28. Tencate's surety bond for the narcotics possession charge amounted to $500, but he was later held on a $5,000 bond for the disorderly conduct charge. He was scheduled to appear in court Nov. 22 for the latter charge and has a Dec. 7 court date set to address the other charges.

David Farzinzad, 49, 417 Waterville Rd., Avon, was charged with disorderly conduct following a reported incident at his home on Nov. 20. He was held on a $10,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court the next day.

Andrew Ryan Montano, 18, 39 Jackson St., Avon, was charged with operation while under the influence Nov. 20. Police arrested him at the intersection of Arch Road and Sylvan Street at 1:15 a.m. after stopping him for motor vehicle violations, including infractions of failure to drive in the proper lane and using an improper signal when turning, police said. He was released on a $500 none-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 30.
