Avon Man Charged with Burglary in West Hartford

Police say the 24-year-old was also arrested for violation of probation.

A 24-year-old Avon man was arrested May 12 after he allegedly burglarized an attached garage at a West Hartford residence.

Police said officers arrested Ethan Bosnyak at his residence, 494 Huckleberry Hill Road, at about 10 p.m. He was charged with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree larceny.

Bosnyak's bond was set at $10,000 on the burglary and larceny charges. He is due in court May 22.

He was arrested less than a week later, on May 19. He was taken into custody by Cromwell Police for two PRAWN warrants and an active arrest warrant from West Hartford Police, according to the arrest report. 

Bosnyak was charged with two counts of violation of probation, for which his bond was set at $25,000 on each count, and third-degree burglary, fourth-degree larceny, and making a false statement in the second-degree. His bond was set at $50,000 for those charges.
