Avon Police Blotter: April 16-17, 2013

The following arrest information was provided by the Avon Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Sexual Assault

Jordan Wright, 22, of 2279 Mt. Vernon Rd., Apt. 3B, Southington, was charged with risk of injury or impairing the morals of children, second-degree sexual assault and use of a computer to entice a mintor on April 16 at 7:40 a.m. Wright was held in custody on a $100,000 surety bond. He appeared in Hartford Superior Court the same day.

Criminal Attempt at Enticing a Minor

Christopher Garcia, 22, of 32 Judd Ave., New Britain, was charged with criminal attempt at enticing a minor, second-degree harassment and risk of injury or impairing the morals of children on April 17 at 7 a.m. Police held him on a $35,000 bond and he was released after his court appearance at Hartford Superior Court on April 17. 

Failure to Appear

Ian Edward Schwalenberg, 23, of 504 New Britain Ave., Newington, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on April 16 at 7 p.m. Police released him on a $500 cash bond and he is scheduled to appear in court on Hartford Superior Court.
