Avon Police Blotter: April 22, 2013

The following arrest information was provided by the Avon Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Reckless Endangerment

Catherine Gillen, 61, of 2 Willow Ln., Avon, was charged with unlawful discharge of firearms, second-degree reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct on April 22 at 9:37 p.m. after a domestic violence incident. No one was injured, police said.  

Joseph J. Gillen, 67, of 2 Willow Ln., Avon, was charged in the same incident with disorderly conduct and second-degree reckless endangerment. 

Both were arrested at their home. Police set Catherine Gillen's surety bond at $10,000 and Joseph J. Gillen's non-surety bond at $2,500. Both were scheduled to appear in court on April 23. 

The case remains open and is under investigation, so police declined to release further information at this time.
