Avon Police Blotter: Aug. 22, 2013

Assault
Denise Satonick, 42, of 33 Old Wheeler Rd., Avon, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct on Aug. 24 at 5:48 p.m. Police issued her a $1,000 non-surety bond and she is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 26.
Forgery
Shawna Rogers, 23, of 15 Evergreen Ave., Hartford, was charged with criminal impersonation, third-degree forgery, two counts of issuing a bad check and fourth degree larceny on Aug. 22 at 10:16 a.m. She also was arrested the same day on charges of criminal attempt to issue a bad check and commit fourth-degree larceny, criminal impersonation, third-degree forgery, third-degree identity theft and interfering with a police officer in a separate case. She was scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 23. Police issued her $10,000 and $50,000 surety bonds, respectively.
