Avon Police Blotter: Feb. 28 to March 3, 2013

The following arrest information was provided by the Avon Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Editor's Note: A judge nolled Laura Nazlian's case in March 2013. The charges are anticipated to be formally dismissed in March 2014.

Robbery

Leo Patrick Donahue, 30, 51 Hopmeadow St., Apt. B3, Weatogue, was charged with disorderly conduct, first-degree robbery and second-degree threatening on Feb. 28 at 3:21 p.m. He was arrested at 395 West Main St., the plaza where Radio Shack is located. Police held him on a $100,000 bond and he was scheduled to appear in court on March 1.

Harassment

Colin Newcomb, 30, 220 Main St., New Hartford, was charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree harassment on March 4 at 3:23 p.m. He apeared in court Tuesday and police issued him a $50,000 surety bond.

DUI

Laura J. Nazlian, 51, of 19 Crane Rd., Ellington, was charged with driving under the influence - implied consent to test refuse. She was also cited with failure to drive in the proper lane, operating or towing an unregistered motor vehicle or trailer, and operation of a motor vehicle without minor insurance. Police released her on a $1,000 surety bond and she is scheduled to appear in court on March 13.
