Operation While Under the Influence
John J. Roman, 58, 67 Buttonwood Hill Rd., Avon, was charged with operation of a vehicle while under the influence and cited with following too close, an infraction, on Dec. 17 at 8:13 p.m. Police released him on a $250 non-surety bond and he is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 4.
David L. Porter, 48, 61 Tyler Court, Avon, was charged with operation while under the influence and cited with infractions of failure to drive in the proper lane and use of improper high beams or red/flashing lights. Police released him on a $500 non-surety bond and he is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 4.
