Avon Police Blotter for Nov. 6 to 14, 2011

The following information was provided by the Avon Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Cruelty to Animals

Raul Medina, 25, 75 Avonwood Rd., Apt. C-5, Avon was charged with cruelty to animals on Nov. 10. Police also charged him with interfering with an officer, a Class A misdemeanor, for the same incident. The penalty was a $10,000 bond.

Weapons in Motor Vehicle

Brian Scott Hackett, 27, 89 Pratt St., Winsted, was charged with having weapons in a motor vehicle, sixth-degree larceny, a Class C midemeanor, and interfering with an officer on Nov. 10.  The penalty was a $5,000 bond and he is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.

Issuing a Bad Check

Janet E. LeBeau, 36, 277 Main St., Apt. B2, Farmington, was charged with issuing a bad check on Nov. 14. She was issued a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 30.

Forgery

Julian Tedeschi, 38, 47 Avonwood Rd., Apt. 315, was charged with second-degree forgery, a Class D felony, on Nov. 14 at 9:05 a.m. and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 30.

Disorderly Conduct

Somaries Diaz-Diaz, 28, 62 Sherbrook, Hartford, was charged with disorderly conduct after being arrested at 135 Waterville Rd. on Nov. 12 at 7:13 p.m.

Operating While Under the Influence

Scott C. Boos, 44, 37 Mountain Estates Dr., Avon, was charged with operation under the influence and cited with failure to drive in the proper lane, an infraction. He was released on a $500 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.

Assault

Robert Meany, 31, and Gregory James Fitzsimmons, 48, 239 Old Farms Rd., Apt. 2C, Avon were charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct on Nov. 8 just after 1 p.m. They were both released on $1,000 surety bonds and scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 16.

Risk of Injury or Impairing the Morals of a Minor

Ashley Clark, 29, and Brian Senecal, 34, 75 Avon Wood Rd., Apt. A1, Avon were both charged with disorderly conduct and risk of injury or imparing the morals of a minor on Nov. 6. Clark was released on a written promise to appear and Senecal was released on a $1,000 surety bond.

Harassment

Zachary Jarrod Budman, 33, 22 Chestnut Dr., Avon, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, a Class B misdemeanor, and second-degree harassment, a Class C misdemeanor on Nov. 8. He was released on a $5,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court Nov. 16.
