Avon Police Blotter for Oct. 16, 2011

Elizabeth L. Griffin, 41, 69 Sunnydale Dr., Bristol, was charged with three counts of violation of probation and one count of second-degree failure to appear on Oct. 16 at 12:26 a.m. She was arrested on four separate warrants for different cases. Police held her on three $20,000 bonds for the violation of probation charge and $10,000 for the failure to appear charge.
She currently has four pending cases in Hartford Superior Court, including one involving a charge of possession of a controlled substance or .5 to 4 ounces of marijuana, two involving fourth-degree larceny charges and another involving disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and interfering with an officer charges. All of those are misdemeanor charges and stem from arrests in Avon. The court is awaiting her plea for each of those cases and she is next scheduled to appear in court on Halloween.
