Avon Police Blotter: July 24-28, 2013

The following arrest information was provided by the Avon Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Patronizing a Prostitute

Scott Brown, 60, of 9 Washington Circle, Farmington, was charged with interfering with an officer and patronizing a prostitute on July 26 at 1:30 p.m. Police arrested him at Fisher Meadows (800 Old Farms Rd.) and released him on a $1,000 non-surety bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 14. 

Robert Alper, 44, of 295 Central Pk W 16 E, New York, NY, was charged with patronizing a prostitute in a separate case, possession of narcotics and sale of a controlled substance on July 26 at 3:31 p.m. Police released him on a $10,000 non-surety bond and he is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 14. 

Interfering with an Officer

Flora Ntundumula, 35, of 911 Asylum Ave., Apt. C8, Hartford, was charged with interfering with an officer and cited with improper use of a marker, license or registration, operating under a suspended license and operating or towing an unregistered motor vehicle or trailer. She was arrested on Avon Mountain Road. She is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 14. 

Operation While Under the Influence

Beate Schaefer, 44, of 138 Forge Dr., Avon, was charged with operation while under the influence and cited with operation with registration or a license that was suspended or revoked on July 27 at 11:54 p.m. Police issued her a $1,000 surety bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 14. 

Disorderly Conduct

Yousef Waad, 54, of 11 Mountain Ledge Rd., Avon, was charged with disorderly conduct on July 24 at 7:03 p.m. Police arrested him in his home and issued him a $1,000 non-surety bond and he was scheduled to appear in court the next day. 

Ismael Junior Lisboa, 20, of 417 Stanley St., New Britain, was charged with second-degree forgery and fourth-degree larceny on July 23 at 6:11 p.m. Police released him on a $2,000 non-surety bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 14.
