Sale of a Controlled Substance

Devin Truax, 27, of 673 Lovely St., Avon, was charged with possession of a controlled substance or less than 4 ounces of marijuana, possession or use of drug paraphernalia and sale of a controlled substance on Aug. 6 at 6:03 a.m. Police held him on a $25,000 bond. He was scheduled ot appear in court on Aug. 7. 

Evading Responsibility

Makhmud S. Makhmudov, 20, of 18 Congress St., Apt. A302, Hartford, was charged with evading responsibility and causing property damage or injury and improper passing and cutting in on Aug. 2 at 4 p.m. Police issued him a misdemeanor summons in connection to a July 24 motor vehicle accident. He was released on a written promise to appear in court on Aug. 15.

Using or Tampering with Motor Vehicle

Jessica Brunelle, 30, of 586 Ella T. Grasso Blvd., New Haven was charged with using or tampering with a motor vehicle without permission on Aug. 2 at 8:04 a.m. She turned herself in on an outstanding warrant and was held on a $25,000 bond. She was scheduled to appear in court that day.

Disorderly Conduct

Jeffrey Meter, 48, of 59 Camp Hill Rd., Northfield, was charged with disorderly conduct on July 28 at 7:14 a.m. Police released him on a written promise to appear in court later that week.
