Falsely Reporting an Incident
Gregory James Fitzsimmons, 49, of 239 Old Farms Rd., Apt. 2A, Avon, was charged with first-degree falsely reporting an incident on Nov. 28 at 9:53 a.m. He reported hearing people arguing upstairs, but police said they found this was not the case when they arrived on scene. He was released on a $5,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 12.

Alyssa R. Williams, 21, of 1 George Washington Tpke., Burlington, was charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree threatening on Nov. 24 at 9:58 a.m. Police said she got into a verbal argument with her mother and told her "when I move out I'm going to beat you up." She was released on a $2,000 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 26.
