Avon Police Blotter: Nov. 3-14, 2012

The following arrest information was provided by the Avon Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Disorderly Conduct

A juvenile was charged with disorderly conduct on Nov. 3 at 12:44 a.m. Police released the individual on a written promise to appear in court Nov. 9. The Avon Police Department does not release the names of people under 18 who are arrested.

Another juvenile was charged with disorderly conduct at 10:344 p.m. on Nov. 3. Police issued the person a juvenile summons and the person was scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 9.

Failure to Appear

Brandon S. Cook, 21, of 60 French St., Watertown, was charged with second-degree failure to appear in court on Nov. 14 at 3:28 p.m. He was held in custody on a $50,000 bond because of an outstanding arrest warrant. He is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 28.

Evading Responsibility

Lincoln H. May, 44, of 138 Cold Spring Rd. in Avon, was charged with evading responsibility after his involvement in a motor vehicle accident caused property damage or injury on Nov. 11 at 7:11 a.m. He was also cited with failure to drive in the proper lane, an infraction. He was released on a written promise to appear in court on Nov. 21.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Gregory James Fitzsimmons, 49, of 239 Old Farms Rd., Apt. 2A, was charged with possession of a controlled substance or less than four ounces of marijuana and possession or use of drug paraphernalia on Nov. 9 at 10:06 a.m. Police released him on a $500 bond and he is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 21.

Operation While Under the Influence

Douglas A. Doyle, 62, of 40 Country Club Rd. in Avon, was charged with operation while under the influence of alcohol on Nov. 8 at 4 p.m. He was pulled over on Country Club Road. Police released him on a $1,000 non-surety bond and he was scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 21.
