Avon Volunteer Fire Department Call Logs: May 5 - May 11
First responders answered fire calls on Byron Drive and Deercliff Road.
The Avon Volunteer Fire Department answered 15 calls for service the week of May 5 - 11, according to the log posted on the department's website.
The department responded to fire calls on Byron Drive and Deercliff Road, as well as alarm activations on East Main Street, Simsbury Road and Ridge Crest Lane.

So far this month, Avon Volunteer Fire Department members have responded to 26 calls (3 fire, 8 hazardous condition - no fire) and 208 total calls since Jan. 1, 2013.
