A bus driver was transported by ambulance to an area hospital late afternoon Wednesday after a collision with two cars in Avon, police said.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Country Club and Stagecoach roads around 3:30 p.m.
Neither the three students aboard the bus nor the car occupants were injured in the crash, but the driver sustained minor injuries.
The Hartford Courant reports that the students were from Pine Grove School.
Country Club Road has since reopened.
No further information was immediately available.
