Danscapes Co-Owner and Wife Asks Families to Trust Her

Writes that husband charged with sexual assault is no longer a part of dance and music studio.

The co-owner of Danscapes, Lindsey Sepa, sent a letter to the parents of the school's students Wednesday night announcing she would be taking over the school in light of charges her husband had a sexual relationship with a minor student.

Lindsey Sepa said that due to her recent surgeries, her husband Jeff Sepa had already stopped teaching his regular classes and replacements have been found.

"I ask that you put your faith in my ability to make a seamless transition while taking over the school. Rest assured that I will maintain the level of excellence and quality programming that has made Danscapes great since 1994," she said in the letter.

Though she said she couldn't talk about her husband's legal issues, Sepa responded to questions about her welfare, saying she was okay.

"It is easy to forget with all of the media hype, that this is just an accusation. So many of you have known Jeff for more than 10 years and know his character and the values that he lives by. I ask that you let what you truly know about him dictate your opinions about this matter," she wrote.
