Drug and DUI Arrests Over New Year's Weekend
The following arrest information for Dec. 30, 2011 through Jan. 2, 2012 was provided by the Avon Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.
Possession or Use of Drug Paraphernalia
Lauren Curcio, 18, 12 Centerbrook, Avon, was charged with possession of a controlled substance or under four ounces of marijuana and possession or use of drug paraphernalia on Jan 2. Police arrested her at 1 Huntington Glen in Avon at 1:35 a.m. and released her on a $2,500 surety bond. Curcio is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 11.
Disorderly Conduct

Jonathan S. Kubran, 27, 2010 Timber Ln., Canton was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and second-degree threatening on Jan 1. at 3:51 a.m. following an incident at 75 Avonwood Rd., police said. He was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 3.
Operation While Under the Influence

Robin Ramsdell, 53, 98 Library Ln., Simsbury, was charged with operation of a vehicle while under the influence and cited with an infraction of failure to drive in the proper lane on Dec. 31 at 5:54 p.m. Police arrested her at the corner of Cotswold Way and Stony Corners Circle in Avon and released her on a $250 non-surety bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 11.
Larceny
Ami Diane Carmin, 52, 20 Greenwoods Rd., New Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on Dec. 31 at 11:33 a.m. Police released her on a $500 surety bond after arresting her in Walmart Plaza along Route 44 in Avon, where TD Bank, Big Y and Walmart are located. She is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 11.
