Officers will be enforcing seat belt laws during the holiday weekend.

It may be a holiday weekend, but the Avon Police Department will be hard at work!

Officers will be on the road May 20 through June 1 enforcing seat belt laws for the "Click It or Ticket" program, according to a press release from the department.

The department also announced the start of its "File of Life" program in the release. Residents can register for the program to give first responders quick access to information such as emergency contacts, medical history, etc.
