Free Thanksgiving Dinner for Bringing Home the Turkey

Miller Foods still waiting for Tom the Turkey to come home.

Whoever returns Tom the Turkey to Miller Foods will take home the gravy.

That and a free Thanksgiving dinner.

Avon food distributor has increased its reward for the safe return of its 8-foot inflatable turkey that went missing sometime between 9 p.m. Nov. 15 and 5 a.m. Nov. 16.

"Chief Rinaldo was here this morning and I spoke with him and he said he may have a few leads, but no actual sightings yet," said Capri Frank, a member of the Miller family and the company's project manager. "So I said I would up the ante to a full turkey dinner as opposed to just the bird."

The Millers have had Tom for 18 years and he is normally there to greet customers at the family's Thanksgiving tent. Customers were asking about him Tuesday.

"So whoever has that they're welcome to come and get their full turkey dinner, no questions asked," Frank said. "We're not going to give you a hard time. We just want Tom back."
