Danbury police said that when they pulled over 23-year-old Christopher Torres and ticketed him on an infraction for not wearing a seat belt, they discovered he was wanted as a fugitive from justice in Florida. When they got a warrant and searched Torres' Danbury home, they found handguns, ammunition, a scale with a white powder substance and marijuana, they said. In addition to the seat belt violation, Torres faces charges of possession of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
