It's Avon Firefighters Vs. Avon Police in This 'Battle'
Blood will be shed in this Battle of the Badges... but in a good way.
You might be thinking: "What? How can that be a good thing?" If it's for the annual Battle of the Badges blood drive, that's how!
From 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 18, folks can come donate blood at the Avon Volunteer Fire Department Company 1, 25 Darling Drive.
The drive is a friendly competition between the firefighters and police, to see who can bring in the most donors.
