I'm a good friend of this guy and he wasn't driving. Cop found him sleeping. Didn't endanger anyone and never moved his car. Was sleeping it off til his shift the next morning. I here the cop is some rookie Avon hired that that's trying to make a name for herself. Instead of finding real crime she goes after someone did the right thing. Hey Officer Wilson. How does it feel to arrest someone who was sleeping under the influence...lol. Way to go! Will this be your next award?

I also know this young man as well as his family. In fact I spoke with him just yesterday where he works, same plaza the officer discovered him. He went out drinking with some friends and knew he couldn't drive home. A friend dropped him back at the lot where his car was where he decided to sleep it off just like his friend said. I applaud him for deciding to sleep instead of drive. Shame on you Avon PD for punishing a young man for making a wise decision NOT to drive. What kind of message does this send? You all certainly use your discretion when your own are concerned. How about applying some of that same discretion elsewhere.
