Meriden Man Charged with Issuing a Bad Check and More Larceny Charges

The following information was provided by the Avon Police Department records division.

PASSING A BAD CHECK

Matthew Kaponis, 27, 246 Hunting Hill Ave., Meriden was arrested on a warrant in court on charges of issuing a bad check and sixth-degree larceny on May 24 at 10 a.m. Kaponis appeared in court that day.

BURGLARY

David Kawiecki, 38, 37 Lyman St., New Britain and Sebastian Kuziak, 29, 99 Stonegate Rd., New Britain, were arrested on charges of first-degree burglary, second-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit both and second-degree criminal mischief. Police served both warrants in Hartford Superior Court on May 24 at 9 a.m.
