Motorcyclist Involved in Granby Accident Dies

The Hartford Courant reports that Clint Eaton, 47, of Pittsfield, Mass., has died.

The motorcyclist involved in a motor vehicle accident in Granby on Monday evening has died, according to The Hartford Courant.

The Courant reported that a Hartford Hospital spokeswoman confirmed the death of Clint Eaton, 47, of Pittsfield, Mass., who was riding his 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound on Granville Road (Route 189) when he struck a 2012 Toyota driven by Julianna Best, 21, of Granby around 5:50 p.m. on Monday evening.

Eaton was wearing a helmet, police said.

Eaton was transported to the hospital via Life Star helicopter.

Best was not injured and there were no other passengers in either vehicle, police said.

The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed, police said. The North Central Accident Reconstruction Team is assisting Granby police with the investigation.
