The following arrest information was provided by the Avon Police Department and does not indicate convictions.
Operation While Under the Influence
John Richard Lord, 41, 132 Forge Dr., Avon, was charged with operation of a vehicle while under the influence on Aug. 21 at 2:40 a.m. Police arrested him at 73 Bronson Rd. and released him on a $500 non-surety bond. He is scheduled to appear in Hartford Superior Court on Aug. 21.
Suspended/Revolked Licence

Douglas Havens, 185 Turkey Hill Rd., Apt. 35, East Granby, was cited for charges of operating a vehicle with a suspended or revolked license and operating or towing in an unregistered motor vehicle or trailer on Aug. 18 at 6:04 p.m. Police issued him a misdemeanor summons and released him on a written promise to appear. He appeared in court that day.
