Police Blotter for Feb. 25-27, 2011

The following arrests were recorded in the Avon Police Department from over the weekend.

SIMPLE TRESPASS

Joel Hava, 24, 1 Batterson Park Road, Apt. 212, Farmington, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance or less than four ounces of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple trespass on Feb. 26 at 1:50 a.m. He had been sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot of Countryside Park at 335 Huckleberry Hill Rd., and was arrested on the property. He was issued a $500 bond and scheduled to appear in court on March 9.

Hava was also arrested on Feb. 16 in on charges of use and possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance or less than four ounces of marijuana and weapons in a motor vehicle.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Richard Armand de Grandis, 48, 20 Tanglewood Dr., Avon, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct on Feb. 25 at 10:36 p.m. Police said an officer responded to the home after a resident dialed 911 and hung up. Two parties in the household were having an argument, police said. The other individual was not arrested. De Grandis appeared in court that day and was issued a $500 bond.
