Hartford Police Continue Search for North Carolina Murder Suspect

Union Station was locked down Friday night after suspect Omar Gray was spotted there.

HARTFORD – Hartford police continue the manhunt Saturday for a North Carolina murder suspect spotted at Union Station Friday.

The Hartford bus station was locked down around 3 p.m. and transportation services were halted for about two hours during the search for the wanted Omar Gray, after surveillance cameras revealed a man fitting his description running through the station and on and off a Peter Pan bus, The Hartford Courant reported.

According to NBC Connecticut, the 33-year-old is wanted on charges tied to a "2006 execution-style murder in North Carolina."

WFSB reported that the murder victim was 31.

West Hartford police and officers from the state police K-9 unit assisted the Hartford Police Department with the city-wide search for Gray, The Courant reported.
