The North Central Municipal Accident Reconstruction team is investigating a two-car, head-on collision that happened on Lovely Street late Wednesday afternoon.
Police confirmed the accident happened just after 4 p.m. and the road was closed off between Chevas Road and Hollister Drive until at least 9 p.m.
Two people were injured, police said. One was evacuated by LifeStar helicopter and another was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Police have not released the names or ages of the injured parties. The regional police team declined to speak with the media Wednesday, but more updates will be provided as they become available.
