Police: One Injured in Country Club Road Crash
Police responded to a two-car accident Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014.
One person was injured in a two-car accident on Country Club Wednesday morning.
The individual, whose name has not been released at this time, was a passenger in one of the cars. Police said that the person was in stable condition as of 2:30 p.m.
The accident near the intersection with Burnham Road was reported to police around 9:35 a.m.
Reader Hillary Horgan tweeted that she drove by the scene just after 10 a.m. and that the road was closed.
"Ambulance, fire trucks and police on scene. They had a stretcher out," she tweeted.
As of 2:21 p.m., police had cleared from the scene.
The North Central Municipal Accident Reconstruction Squad also responded, The Hartford Courant reported.
