Police confirmed Tuesday evening that they found a Farmington man who went missing Monday.
Police found Jack Stierer, 59, of Farmington, "in a wooded area in Farmington unharmed," police said in a statement.
"Stierer was transported to a local hospital for evaluation," police said.

Connecticut State Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Farmington man.
Jack G. Stierer, 59, was last seen Nov. 11 wearing a grey college sweatshirt, possibly with a Boston University logo on it, and either jeans or blue sweatpants.
He is 5', 10" and 190 pounds.
