Two 19-Year-Olds Charged with Third-Degree Burglary at 20 Security Drive

Third-Degree Burglary

Zacchary T. McCulloch, 19, 24 Grant Hill Rd., Bloomfield, and Benjamin Paine, 19, 68 Tamara Circle, Avon, were charged with third-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief at 10:17 p.m. for a June 21 incident at 20 Security Drive. The commercial building, according to town assessment records, is owned by Mark Greenburg, of Litchfield, who ran for fifth district in the U.S. Congress last year. Police released both McCulloch and Paine on $10,000 non-surety bonds. They are scheduled to appear in Hartford Superior Court on July 6. 

Simple Trespass

A juvenile was fined $92 following a simple trespass charge, which is an infraction. The individual has a July 8 court date scheduled. Police do not release the names, addresses or ages of juveniles arrested or charged with infractions.

Third-Degree Assault

Fernando Morales, 44, 25 Brownell Ave., Hartford, was arrested at 15 Waterville Rd. on June 27 at 7:57 p.m. and charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, improper use of a marker, license or registration, operation without a registered license or a license that was suspended or revolked, operating or towing with an unregistered motorvehicle  or trailer, and operation of a motorvehicle without minimum insurance. He was also charged with second-degree failure to appear. Police held him on a $5,000 bond for the third-degree assault charge and $1,500 for the failure to appear charge.
