Two Minors and 18-year-old Charged with First-Degree Burglary

FIRST-DEGREE BURGLARY

Younjun Sung, 18, 7 Dove Circle, Avon and two 17 year olds were arrested April 30 on charges of first-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal trespass and possession of burglar's tools. Police responded to a business alarm at 50 Tower Lane and intercepted the suspects, who police said entered through the boiler room. Nothing was stolen from the property, police said. One of them had two Stanley flathead screwdrives, another had a Swiss Army knife, though that may not have been used, and the third had a flashlight, police said. They were each released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and are scheduled to appear in court on May 11.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE OR MARIJUANA

Matthew Robert Kraines, 25, 29 Phelpscroft Rd., was arrested April 30 on charges of possession of a controlled substance or under four ounces of marijuana and possession or use of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled ot appear in Hartford Superior Court on May 11.

Travis Jordan Desouza, 19, 129 Bahre Corner Rd., Canton, was arrested April 30 on charges of possession of a controlled substance or under four ounces of marijuana and possession or use of drug paraphernalia. Police arrested him at the intersection of West Main Street with Dale Road. He was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled ot appear in Hartford Superior Court on May 11.
