Wallingford Woman Charged in DUI Case

Driving Under the Influence
Jeanne Johnson, 48, of 31 Pieper Drive in Wallingford, was charged with driving under the influence, failure to drive in proper lane, failure to use proper turn signal and operating an unregistered motor vehicle on June 23 at 1:18 a.m. She was released after posting a $1,000 surety bond and is due is scheduled to appear in court on July 11.
Failure to Appear
Charles Sweeney, 21, of 124 Northgate in Avon, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on June 17 at 10:56 p.m. Police said he was arrested on an outstanding warrant and was released after posting a $2,500 cash bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 27.
