West Hartford Police Seek Suspect in Stabbing

An arrest warrant has been issued for Angel Rodriguez of Hartford, who is considered by West Hartford police to be armed and dangerous.

 

West Hartford Police issued a request Monday afternoon for assistance in locating a suspect wanted for a stabbing in a Boulevard apartment on Sunday.

Police said that they were dispatched to a third floor apartment at 1171 Boulevard at 2:10 a.m. Sunday for a report of a stabbing. According to police, the victim was discovered at the scene and transported to St. Francis Hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

According to police, the stabbing occured during a fight between two male parties at the residence. The suspect fled prior to police arrival, they said.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for Angel Rodriguez, 26, of 496 Prospect Ave., 2nd Floor, Hartford. The warrant seeks to charge Rodriguez with one count of 53a-59 assault in the first degree.

Police aid that the whereabouts of Rodriguez are unknown at this time. and Rodriguez should be considered armed and dangerous.
