Closures
- Avon Public Schools will be closed Friday.

SATURDAY
Closures
- The Avon Landfill will be closed on Saturday because of the impending snow storm and will be open for regular hours on Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Cancellations
- The Town Council's Saturday budget workshop has been canceled. The council's regularly scheduled meeting will go on as planned Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.
- Avon Soccer Club's registration session scheduled for Saturday has been canceled. It's rescheduled to Tuesday, Feb. 12 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in the Avon Middle School cafeteria.
