The library construction is 10 days behind schedule due to the snow, but Peter Wells, an architect from Tuthill and Wells working on the project, said that the site is currently in good condition to move ahead.

"The site conditions are the best I've ever seen," Wells said.

The next step of the project is pouring "close to 100 yards" of concrete.

Besides weather delays, Vocelli said limited parking is affecting programming. Staff members are parking across the street at , where overflow parking is also available for library patrons.

Despite minor setbacks, Vocelli said that she has gotten at positive response from the public thus far. The other day there were three or four families who brough their kids to the library and were looking at the bulldozers and construction together.

"The residents can see it happening, so that is great," Vocelli said.
