Avon Registrars of Voters Announce Public Lottery to Determine Candidate Name Order
This will establish the order the candidates' names will appear in on the Nov. 5, 2013 municipal ballot.
The following press release was submitted by the Avon Registrars of Voters.
The Registrars of Voters hereby give Public Notice that a Public Lottery to determine the horizontal order of the names of the Candidates for the following multiple- opening offices – Town Council, Board of Finance, Board of Education, Board of Assessment Appeals and the Zoning Board of Appeals – will be held by the Registrars of Voters on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013, at 9 a.m. in the Selectman’s Chambers, Avon Town Hall. The above offices will be filled at the Municipal Election to be held on Nov. 5, 2013.
