Avon's Budget Referendum is Getting Closer

Before you vote on Avon's proposed 2013-14 budget, town officials will go over the proposal at its annual Avon Town Meeting Monday.

The information meeting will begin on May 6 at 7 p.m. at the Avon Senior Center.

No changes will be made to the existing proposal at the meeting, but it used to be how Avon taxpayers voted on the budget before the town began having referendums.

The referendum itself is scheduled for May 15. Voting will run from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. that day at the Avon Senior Center.
