Avon Company 3 volunteer firefighter Joe Kuzma, who works at American Red Cross came up with the idea.

"We've got a tropy two years running," Avon Fire Chief Michael Trick said.

Rinaldo said that he hopes the police department wins this year.

"It's a fun thing. It's just a friendly competition," Trick said. "The real winners are the recipients of the donations."
