P&Z canceled, Theatre Guild of Simsbury's 'Curtains' performances canceled this weekend and more.

  • Avon High School continues to be open as a shelter
  • Avon Old Farms
  • Town Hall is open, but services are limited because not all staff was able to come in due to power outages and other post-storm issues.

  • Route 44 regained power Monday, but businesses might be trying to recouperate, some some more might be open again.
  • The West Simsbury Shell at the corner of Route 167 and Route 44 is open, though out of gas. Another shipment is slated to come in at noon.
  • Avon at 75 E Main St. reportedly has gas.
  • The Avon Sunoco toward the bottom of Avon Mountain is also said to have long lines for gas.
