Labor Day is approaching, so many Avon residents and businesses will be taking Monday off.
However, these businesses will likely be open. Please call ahead to confirm a business is open before you visit it.

- Liquor stores: The state's new law allows package stores to be open on Labor Day if they choose. Grocery stores licensed to sell beer may now sell beer from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Labor Day.
