Avon Business Buzz: Donut Shop Now Delivers; Sev Shak to Reopen; GameStop Closes

As one Avon business prepares to open in West Hartford Center, a donut shop is rebranding itself as a place where you can get pizza and other food too.

Here's the latest news in the Avon business scene.

• Luke's Donut Shop has launched a subsidiary business called Luke's Pizza, extending its hours and offering delivery. Read more about the changes by clicking on the link provided. 

• Sev Shak closed in Avon back in February as it prepared to move from Avon Village Marketplace, but the store is scheduled to open April 1 next to Grant's Restaurant on Farmington Avenue in West Hartford. Online purchasing continues to be available on the business website, www.sevshak.com.

• The GameStop in Avon, next to Cosi, closed its doors on March 24.

• In case you didn't know, My New Wardrobe, a children's clothing store in avon, moved from Riverdale Farms to Avon Village Marketplace in October.
