What Should Go into Former Hessian Lion Bar?

Tell us in the comments what type of business you'd like to see in this Avon property.

After a long period of being closed temporarily, the Hessian Lion left the 10 East Main St. location.

It is not clear if the bar will reopen elsewhere or what the circumstances were behind the decision.

However, one thing's for sure. The 1,900-square-foot space that used to house Avon's only standalone bar is available for lease.

As a side note, John Lumani, who owns Lumani's Ye Olde Barber Shoppe nextdoor, moved his business there after driving by the little, red building and reading about it on Visions for Vacancies when he Googled it.

While there's no guarantee this feature will bring businesses to Avon, you never know who might be looking and reading your ideas. Regardless, it's fun to talk about which businesses you'd like in town and where they could go.
